Ghosts of ‘Christmas’ Futures Past: You Are Exorcised!

Ebenezer was right about one thing: no harm, no foul. He didn’t say that, but he did refrain from harm when going about his life. But is it good to live this way? Or is it just another way of denying the issue behind that avoidant behavior?

Life is meant to hurt sometimes…

Better yet,

Get out there and get hurt sometimes!

Aren’t you done hiding yourself from others? Life hurts, yes. But sometimes it’s meant to! And by putting yourself out there, you get to be who you want to be.

If you do not realize this for yourself, it could mean that you will be haunted for most — if not for all — of your life.

Who is haunting you?

Your past.

Which will create?

Your future.

Some exorcising needs to be done before this Christmas because Christmas is right around the corner!

And we’ve all experienced the stress Christmas brings if you do not feel like your best self. The obligations people throw at us, the forced parties that trigger our social anxieties, and not to mention all of the food we consume that makes us somewhat lethargic.

This isn’t meant to get you down; this is supposed to let you put the mirror in front of yourself and look that ghost into its eyes.

See its behaviors for what they are: loopings of beliefs you have, not are. They do not exist anywhere but in your mind, nor does the ghost.

Then, it’s time to exorcise. Exorcise the new beliefs you WISH to have! This year, give yourself a Christmas present worth receiving. And do not let the past create your future, but let the future create a new past.

Thank you so much for reading!
