Walking Down The Known Path: You Needn’t Fix What’s Not Broken
It’s quite comforting to know that we don’t need to fix what’s not broken. But how about renovating, restoring, or even renewing — not the path, but ourselves?
Oh what a night! Late May, back in May.
Later in the evening, I decided to go for a walk because…
It is ALWAYS a good idea to go for a walk.
And as the sun was setting, I reminded myself of one thing: I love this path.
A path I have walked a hundred of times before still gives me a new feeling every single time.
How does that work?
Well, I am probably different every single time I walk this known, unchanging path.
So, ’twas not the path that I needed to fix. Nay, ’twas me…
Who also didn’t need fixing…
For I wasn’t, and am not, broken.
Yet, the path supported me like it never had before.
This known, unchanging path, somehow felt and even looked a bit different.
Oh, what a night…
Thank you so much for reading!
And remember to ALWAYS go for that walk.
Love,
A new Juliet
